With school ending this week, it’s a tremendous opportunity for high school and collegiate athletes to provide their bodies with proper nutrients to allow for optimal growth during the summer.
Nutrition can be simple, but it takes preparation and consistency. With questions coming up of, “how can I eat to gain weight on a budget?” I’ve gone through and put together a grocery list with the cost of each item.
To prep, your meals for the week may take a little time on a Sunday but can be very valuable when it comes to being prepared for the week ahead.
For each meal, choose 1 item out of each category and prepare extra to have a meal ready to eat, mix in some healthy snacks in between, and stay consistent!
