Hurdle Jump To Box Jump With One Leg Landing

The main purpose of this exercise is to exploit the stretch-shortening cycle with the plyometric being performed i.e., the Hurdle Jump.

This plyometric allows for a countermovement, during that countermovement, stored elastic energy is utilized to jump up on the box. Jumping on a box decreases the stress of the exercise, which is important so the athlete can properly land and stabilize on a single leg.
