At BPT, we frequently utilize our Sideboards with a number of our exercise variations. The Sideboards are another unique tool we use to maximize our training. One variation we use is the Kettlebell (KB) Goblet Slideboard Reverse Lunge.
The KB Goblet Slideboard Reverse Lunge is an excellent single-leg exercise that requires single leg strength, mobility, and stability. Adding the Slideboard to the Reverse Lunge requires increased eccentric control and stability throughout the movement. This exercise challenges the lower body and core stability while enhancing posterior chain lower body strength development. It also provides additional mobility benefits through the hip.
