Translating the weight room to performance on the field


As a performance coach, it is imperative that the strength and power our athletes are building in the weight room translates to performance on the field.


Looking at pitching specifically, an athlete must possess adequate mobility and stability throughout the throwing motion all the while generating great amounts of rotational force/power to increase velocity.


Our coaches at @bullettgym work closely with @brinkpitching_ to analyze general movement patterns in the weight room, as well as pitching mechanics on the mound to design an individualized training program based upon their sport-specific needs.
