Plyometrics are an important component to every training program at BPT. It allows us to bridge the gap between traditional weight room training and actual play of sport.
Here we have @natlovell demonstrating our Bounding @ 45-degrees w/mini bounce. The mini bounce emphasizes the elastic/reactive qualities of each athletes. Additionally, this drill allows us to train explosive movements similar to what athletes might experience in their actual sport. Think of a hockey player who is skating down the ice, or a tennis player reacting to a ball, or a defensive back retreating to cover a wide receiver.
