The Medial Hurdle Hop to Heiden External Rotation w/Stick is an advanced plyometric drill that we use to challenge an athlete's potential in how they absorb and produce force in multiple planes of motion.
In the video, Coach Lovellpt does a great job demonstrating the drill. The initial hop over the hurdle allows him to pre-load the leg, followed by a transition into the Heiden, where he then rotates and sticks the landing to challenge his ability to absorb the force in the front hip.
